Celebration of Unity 2026
Join us next September 19, 2026 for the 8th annual Celebration of Unity, 4-8pm at Pike Place (125 S. Washington St.).
The Celebration of Unity is a free, outdoor, public festival where Montgomery County residents gather to play games, tackle interactive activities, and enjoy entertainment that reflect a wide array of cultures, ethnicities, and perspectives. This family friendly event is a great opportunity for community members to learn more about one another and to celebrate the ways that diversity, freedom, and equality make our community stronger and our lives richer.
History
HUE held its first annual Celebration of Unity on September 9th, 2017, and continues to celebrate community, diversity, and belonging each year since (with the exception of 2020 and 2021 due to Covid).
HUE's Other Major Events
HUE's other annual, hallmark event is The Human Library, which occurs in late February or early March.
We organize many other activities throughout the year. Find those on our calendar, list of upcoming events, or program committees (FAE, La Conexion, VOICE, and The Collective).
